Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds cornerback Marcus Peters was in Orlando, Fla last weekend for the Gridiron Kings 7-on-7 event. Check inside for the latest in the three-star prospect's recruitment...

Marcus Peters (5-11, 190) is a talented cornerback prospect that moved from corner to safety during Sunday's Gridiron Kings 7-on-7 event and thrived at the position. caught up with him afterward.

"It was good coming down to Florida," said Peters. "I worked hard with other players and it gave me a chance to see how other guys are. it was very fast out here and it was hard to adjust to the weather. I had fun hanging out with other guys from around the country."

Peters talked about what he's been doing this summer from a recruiting standpoint.

"I haven't taken any visits," he added. "I only went to the [Stanford] Nike combine. I won defensive [back] MVP there. Since then, recruiters were calling like crazy."

Despite having several offers, Peters isn't ready to single out a list of schools just yet.

"Everyone is the same," he said. "I'm not looking for a school to commit to yet. I wanna take all five visits and take it from there. Oregon, Utah, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona, most of the Pac-10, have offered me a scholarship."

However, hometown California is not one of his early offers.

"Location, does it feel like home?," Peters said about what he's looking for in a school. "I'm real family oriented so as long as it feels like home, I'm okay."
