UCF Lands 14th Commit

The rich got richer Thursday morning, as UCF landed commitment number 14 of the summer. UCF received a commitment from 6'4" receiver Stephen Hill earlier in the month, and landed another big wide out this morning.

Wide receiver Dontravious Floyd committed to UCF early Thursday morning, making him UCF's 14th commitment on the 2009 class.

Floyd visited UCF during practice last week and loved the school. Less than two months ago UCF wasn't even in his top three, but tireless recruiting and a view of what UCF had to offer persuaded him to be a Knight.

The 6'3" receiver has a great frame, tipping the scale at 205 lbs. He knows how to best use his size well, something Floyd says is from his experience playing basketball. Floyd was a threat in the red-zone last season, grabbing six touchdowns, many of them due to his size and jumping ability.

Floyd had offers from Auburn, Kansas, FIU, Troy, USF, Vanderbilt and UCF.

Stephen Hill committed to UCF earlier in the month, giving the Knights two immensely talented, big receivers who can flat out make plays.

InsideKnights.com will have more information on UCF's latest recruit and will have his thoughts on being a Knight.
