Is it Miller Time?

Hoover H.S. (Ala.) cornerback Pat Miller is an extremely talented defensive back that has garnered the attention of some big college programs across the U.S. UCF has him high on their list and this love is reciprocated as UCF is also a favorite of Miller's.

Miller is so high on UCF that he has planned an official visit to Orlando this weekend for the game versus USF, but had due to uncontrollable circumstances will have to miss this week's game. Miller's teammate, Brian Jackson, was also slated to visit this week, but an accident forced him to propone the trip. Both players have said that they will reschedule their official visit date.

Miller has an impressive list of offers that includes Oregon, Oklahoma State, Miami (OH) and UCF. When asked if he has a favorite, Miller answered without hesitation, "Central Florida is my favorite."

He knows for sure about the UCF official and is going to play a waiting game on the other schools.

"I like Florida and Florida State" says Miller. However, neither school has offered yet.

Jackson had previously told that Miller and he would like to stay together four more years and go to the same school, and Miller feels the same way.

"I would like to continue to playing with him [Jackson]. We love hanging out together and it would be great to go to the same college together. "

When asked about the in-state schools Miller stated that, "I am on the top prospect list for both Alabama and Auburn," although neither school has extended an offer.

Off to a 2-0 start, Hoover is looking to rebound this season to which Miller says "I think we are going to be pretty good this year, we have a good defense and the offense is starting to click." With with the way the Miller and Jackson tandem have been playing, it is hard to argue Miller's perception.

As of now, UCF is the clear favorite to land both Miller and Jackson and if things continue to move in that direction, the Knights will be adding a very talented corner duo to their 2009 class.
