Another Commitment Lands with UCF

The Knights got a commitment from A.J. Boyle this morning, but another recruit also committed to the Knights, making it 16.

UCF might have recently lost receiver Stephen Hill to Georgia Tech, but the universe has a funny way of evening things out.

The Knights landed Leon Woods today, a three star receiver from Lake Gibson Senior H.S. (FL) Woods' verbal comes as a bit of a surprise, as UCF has now added three commitments in the past week and UCF didn't seem to be high on Woods' radar. However, the Knights managed to swoop in and steal Woods away from the likes of USF, Alabama and Louisville, who also had offered Woods.

With height (6'2") and speed (a legit 4.4 40) Woods has the tools to come in and play right away. Along with another Florida prospect, Dontravious Floyd, the Knights are accumulating some very special receivers for the 2009 recruiting class.

InsideKnights.com will keep you informed on the Woods situation and will be in contact with him shortly.
