Dontravious Floyd Still Soft?

Dontravious Floyd was considered a "soft verbal" to UCF around a month ago. Have things changed for the three-star receiver since? Come inside the Round Table to see how Floyd's visit went.

"My visit went great," Dontravious Floyd told "I got to see how the players interacted and all the great chemistry the guys had together as a team."

Floyd (South Dade H.S., Fla.) is rated three-stars and committed to UCF in the summer. Since he made his verbal, rumors about him not being content with UCF circulated around the internet. He told that he was fully committed back in late October and after his visit to UCF this weekend, there is no doubt where Floyd will be next year.

"It's a wrap. I'm going to be a Knight and I'm done taking visits."

It didn't take much convincing to make Floyd stay committed to UCF, but an excellent weekend certainly helped sweeten the deal.

"I was with Darin Baldwin and A.J. Guyton for most of the trip," said Floyd. "Darin and I went to the same school and we have the same personality because we are both real outgoing. A.J. was cool too. He's quiet and laid back, kind of old school, which I liked. We went to the basketball game against Memphis, which was great. The crowd was loud and you could tell that the school has spirit."

At 6'3", 205 lbs, Floyd has the potential to be a great red zone target and other schools have taken note of that.

"I had some attention from schools like Alabama, LSU and West Virginia but they faded away slowly. It's done now though."

Floyd plans on enrolling at UCF during the summer but will work on staying in shape and on grades before he comes to UCF.

"Right now I'm working on school. I have good grades and I've already qualified. I'm currently playing basketball and will run track when the season is over."
