Jonathan Davis Loved His Visit

Jonathan Davis was the highest rated recruit that visited UCF this weekend and things couldn't have gone better for Davis or the Knights, as the Georgia prospect loved his trip to Orlando. Find out what we learned from Davis' family and when he'll be making his decision.

Jonathan Davis is rated four-stars and the eighth best weak side linebacker in the nation. Davis originally committed to South Carolina, but after a highly publicized debacle, the athlete is looking elsewhere. One of the places Davis has turned his attention to is UCF.

Davis took an official visit to UCF this weekend and by all accounts, he had a great time. His father, Ty, also enjoyed the trip and said his son had an awesome time.

"It was great, we had an awesome time," Ty Davis told InsideKnights.com. "Jonathan enjoyed everything, all the players and coaches he met, everything[was great]."

There is no precise time table for when Davis will make his decision, but after a great visit, Ty and his son will plan to make a choice before January 26th because that is when Coach George O'Leary will be visiting.

"We are going to sit down as a family and talk it over. We will try to have a decision by the 26th when Coach O'Leary is visiting."

Davis didn't say there was clear-cut favorite, but after a fantastic visit, it appears that UCF is in the lead for the explosive linebacker/safety/running back.

"No one else has contacted us, right now its UCF and UAB."
