Prospect Too Fast to Visit UCF

A speedy prospect couldn't make his visit this weekend. Find out why and what else he had to say about UCF.

No one will question Bradley Roby's speed, as he was officially clocked at 4.34 seconds in the 40 yard dash. However Brad is not satisfied with this ridiculously fast time as he continues to work to get faster.

"I am trying to get even faster," Roby tells Inside Knights. "No matter how fast you are you can always get a little quicker."

So it shouldn't come to much surprise that Roby will not be able to make it to UCF this weekend due to a track meet.

"I really wanted to go down there this weekend, but I can't let my team down, Roby stated." I talked to Coach Collins though and he told me they have another one in April so I will be going down then."

This talented wideout has yet to pick up a UCF offer but does have one from Vanderbilt, and has interest from other top programs including Georgia and Wake Forest. He has confident in his game and is looking forward from a transition from a run first offense to a more air bound attack, but when you ask him about his goals for this season he talks all about the team.

"We lost state last year," Roby told "We definitely want to win state this year."

Roby does like what he sees in UCF and he will be considering what they offer him, assuming they do offer him, as he makes the choice on where he wants to spend the next four years of his life.

"I love the location, I love Florida," exclaims Roby. "It is a good team, I know some guys on the team and they really like it down there."

As Florida proved with their national championship run, speed does indeed kill, and you cannot teach the kind of speed that Brad Roby possesses. The fact that 4.34 comes from a guy with a 6'1" frame and a legit 40 inch vertical makes him much more attractive to potential schools. Roby's future is bright and will include many offers as he is a special type of athlete.
