Another Junior Day for UCF

A month ago, UCF hosted a bevy of talented recruits during Junior Day and the Knights actually received its earliest commitment ever during the weekend. Now the Knights are going for round two as the team is putting on its second Junior Day. Early reports indicate that the talent is as impressive as last month, if not more, with several HUGE names leading the way.

The headliner of the group is Corey Lemonier (pictured above), the four-star defensive end from Hialeah Senior H.S. (Fla.) as well as his teammate Calvin Smith. The two form one of the best duos on the defensive line in the nation, as Lemonier is rated as the sixth best end in the nation and Smith (a defensive tackle) has offers from UCF, Illinois and Miami. Ravonne Carter, also from Hialeah, will also be in attendance.

A local sophomore with a world of potential is also on campus today. Sederious Bryant from Seminole H.S. is a star in the making and is being courted by the Knights.

Another stud who is in attendance is Lake Region H.S. safety, Marvin Robinson, who is ranked 14th in the nation at his respective position. The Knights are going up against fierce competition here, but getting him on campus is step one.

Perry Meiklejohn, who saw in person earlier this year, is also in Orlando. He is a massive defensive tackle who is surprisingly light on his feet and is an underrated player in the state right now.

Coming from far north is James Kittredge, a defensive end from Don Bosco Prep School in New Jersey. Kittredge is a versatile lineman who holds offers from Maryland, N.C. State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.

Chryston Floyd and Jeremy Deering will also be here and there is a list of plenty of other talented athletes that are expected to be at UCF today.
