Not Done in Dunnellon

The 2010 class has opened with a bang for UCF, but the Knights aren't even close to done with this class, as they still have their hands in on several top prospects. Come inside to find out which elite Sunshine State prospect is high on the Knights.

Terrence Brooks is one of the top corners in the state and has earned scholarships already from Miami, Florida State, Purdue, and UCF, with more likely to come. Terrence Brooks, a standout athlete at nearby Dunnellon High School, acknowledges that teammate (and 2009 Knight commit) D.J. Brown has been recruiting him to come to UCF.

"D.J. is trying to get me to go there," stated Brooks. "We went there together in spring."

The visit in spring was not Terrence's first visit to UCF, but it also will likely not be his last.

"I like the indoor practice facility a lot," stated Brooks. "I really like the coaches they seem to really care about the recruits and the players already there."

So with Miami and Florida State already having offers, and Florida recruiting him as well, do the Knights stand any shot at landing the services of this extremely talented corner.

"I have visited Florida State, Florida, and UCF already and have a few more visits scheduled this summer," Brooks told Inside Knights. "UCF will definitely be in the mix though, I like it there."

As far as the type of player Terrence is, when asked about goals this season Terrence simple stated, "As the leader of this team, I don't have any personal goals, but I want to get my team deep in the playoffs."

Terrence possesses the skill set and leadership that the Knights would love to add to the secondary but the Knights will face an uphill battle to acquire his services due to the top tier teams already vying for his signature.
