Do the Knights Still Rank High for Fordham?

UCF was the first school to offer Cameron Fordham, but it didn't stay that way for long, as the talented tight end has gotten three new offers this spring. Fordham is expecting even more offers by the end of the month, so are the Knights still one of Fordham's favorites?

As a junior, Cameron Fordham was only a shell of himself, as he was hampered by mono, which persisted throughout the season. Despite the illness, Fordham dominated as a tight end and defensive end for Northview H.S. (Ga.). Now that he's fully healthy, Fordham is looking to go from a hidden gem to a big-time college prospect.

The 6'4", 237 lb. product looks to be fully healthy and he has impressed this spring. Thus far, four schools have offered, three of those coming in the past month. Those schools are UCF, UAB, Syracuse, and Richmond.

"It feels really good to keep getting offers," Fordham told

Fordham has long expressed his interest in UCF and he also seemed happy about getting an offer from UAB.

"UAB is pretty close to home and they are an up and coming program. They have a good head coach in Coach Calloway and the school is in a good area."

More offers could very well be on their way for Fordham.

"Auburn, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Maryland have come by this spring and have shown interest. Michigan has shown a lot of interest too. Tennessee seems to like me and I am definitely going up there on June 2nd."

As of now, Fordham doesn't have one favorite, but the Knights seem to be right up there with Clemson.

"I'm still open, but schools that stand out right now are UCF, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, N.C. State and Virginia Tech."

Fordham said that he would like to make his decision by the beginning of his senior year, but wants to take some visits this summer.

"I'm going to weigh all my options and am open to all offers. I'll be looking at the program, its location and the school's academics. I am expecting some more offers after schools are done with spring evaluation."

Where will Fordham be heading this summer? He will likely take a few visits and already has a short list of schools he definitely wants to see.

"I am expecting to be taking final visits this summer. I am going to Tennessee in June and definitely to UCF in June too. I have already visited Auburn and Clemson, but I'm waiting to hear from other schools before I take any more trips."
