Julian Horton, the talented athlete who most people have slated to play wide out at the next level, has earned 9 scholarship offers including offers from the likes of Maryland, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Alabama. He is a lethal weapon with a 6'1" frame, 4.5 speed, and great hands. Some of this shown by the numbers he put up in his spring game.
"I had 80 receiving yards, one reception, and one touchdown," stated Horton. To this he simply replies "it went well."
He has busy plans this summer as he was in L.A. to witness game 2 of the Magic vs Lakers NBA Finals series and has been visiting schools across the country, including USC. So does this talented wideout have any plans of visiting UCF?
"I have not visited [UCF] yet, but I heard its very nice," stated Horton. When asked about his plans on visiting UCF in the summer, he simply stated, "I'll see you."
He has been offered by Vandy as a corner, but as a wideout by everyone else, including UCF, and makes no bones about the fact he prefers wide receiver. He will be an asset to any team that could acquire his services, and his stock will only continue to rise, as the summer continues.
