Is UCF in the Mix for Lemonier?

Corey Lemonier is one of the top defensive prospects in the nation. He holds over 20 offers from top programs all around the country, including UCF. He is currently in the middle of narrowing down his list.

"I'm just looking at every school right now and making visits," Lemonier said in an Inside Knights exclusive interview. "UCF is definitely in the mix. Coach (David) Kelly is a really good person. We talk a lot."

UCF may be a dark horse in the Corey Lemonier sweepstakes. Even though the Knights are competing against other top programs in the country for the five-star prospect out of Hialeah, they may have a slight advantage. UCF is able to offer him the early playing time and the academics that Lemonier wants.

"Early playing time and academics are the most important qualities in a school to me. I want to major in something computer-related."

It looks like Corey could possibly be committing to the same school as teammate Calvin Smith. They are making all of their visits together, and every school in the state of Florida has offered the duo.

Lemonier has not made a timetable for his decision yet, but is planning on visiting every school in Florida and attending some camps over the summer.
