Knights Fishing for Talent in Westlake

The Knights wowed Westlake H.S. cornerback Darius Robinson when he took a visit to campus earlier this summer. Now UCF will try to do the same for one of the biggest players on their recruiting board, as they will host one of Robinson's highly-touted teammates.

It's been well documented that UCF has a lot of interest in Darius Robinson, a star cornerback for Westlake H.S. (Ga.) Robinson has reciprocated those feelings and he may not be the only Westlake product to be high on UCF.

Mammoth tackle Tony Jacob has caught UCF's eye and it's no surprise why. When looking at Robinson's film, Jacob had to get the staff's attention. After all, it's difficult to miss a lineman standing at 6'8", 310 lbs. That's not a typo, Jacob is massive offensive lineman who has size that some professional tackles would envy.

As of now, Jacob holds offers from Indiana, Middle Tennessee St., New Mexico and several other FCS schools. The Knights have also extended an offer to Jacob and he made it abundantly clear who his favorite school is.

"Right now, UCF is my favorite," Jacob told

The Knights will likely increase their lead to land Jacob as he will get a chance to visit UCF's campus for the first either time today (Thursday) or tomorrow. Jacob is in Orlando right now for an AAU tournament and he told Inside Knights that he'd love to see the campus that Robinson raved about.

Tony would be a huge prospect for the Knights and could also give them that extra help they need in acquiring the services of ultra-talented corner Darius Robinson. The Knights are attacking the O-line this year in recruiting and that should pay dividends in the future as games are won and lost with the big boys. And as far as Jacob is concerned, he's as big as they come.
