Big Week for Knights

As the summer begins to end and teams start to get ready for camp, it's easy to get distracted from recruiting efforts, but with a little over a week until UCF's camp starts, the Knights are making sure that they finish the summer off with a bang, as several prominent recruits will be taking a look at the beautiful campus and facilities.

Like Coach David Kelly told Inside Knights last summer, "recruiting is like shaving, if you don't do it every day, it shows." Well the Knights must have a steady supply of Norelcos on hand, because the team is gearing up for one final push this summer.

The Knights will play host to a bevy of talented recruits this upcoming week, starting on Monday with Tony Jacob. Inside Knights will have further details later on how that visit went. As of late Monday night, sources close to Jacob said that the visit went extremely well and he might be getting the green light from teammates to commit.

We also have talked to several other players this week that are planning on visiting. That list includes, but is not limited to, three-star end Tim Jackson, cornerback Dionte Ponder and dynamic quarterback, Stephen Morris.

Jackson should be in Orlando during this upcoming weekend, Morris will be here the 31st and Ponder hasn't narrowed down his date yet.

These dates are subject to change, but for the time being, it appears that UCF's staff is in a prime position to make an impact on some high-profile players before the summer ends.
