Chippewas Insider has learned that defensive lineman Matt Losiniecki of Waukesha (Wisc.) West High School has verbally committed to Central Michigan University.
Rated among the top players in the state of Wisconsin this year, Losiniecki reported eight scholarship offers. He chose CMU over Akron and the University of Pennsylvania.
Losiniecki becomes the 22nd known verbal commitment overall and the second Wisconsite in the Chippewas' 2011 recruiting class. Losiniecki could play defensive end or tackle for CMU.
