Bellore to Participate in NFL Combine

MOUNT PLEASANT - Former Central Michigan linebacker Nick Bellore will travel to Indianapolis later this week to take part in the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine.

Nick Bellore will be one of more than 300 players at the event. The combine officially begins Wednesday when specialists, offensive linemen and tight ends report and concludes March 1 when the defensive backs work out.

Bellore will arrive in Indianapolis with the rest of the linebackers and defensive linemen on Friday, undergo interviews and psychological testing Saturday and Sunday and work out on Monday.

A starter in a school-record tying 52 games from 2007-10, Bellore finished third in school history with 472 career tackles. He is just the sixth player in Central Michigan history to earn All-Mid-American Conference first team accolades in three different seasons. The three-year co-captain made 10 or more tackles in a game 24 times during his career.
