6-foot-5, 225 pound senior Grant Lingafelter knew that Signing Day was coming soon. With that in mind, the offensive tackle decided to go ahead and make his commitment.
"I made my decisions today," said Lingafelter Tuesday afternoon. "I committed to West Virginia."
The OT says that West Virginia offers everything he's looking for in a school.
"I loved the level of football they play. I visited the campus and really liked it. It's a great place."
Now that his decision is out of the way, Lingafelter is excited about heading to WVU.
"It's a great feeling; a huge weight off my shoulders."
When the senior delivered the news to the Mountaineer staff, he couldn't have asked for a better reception.
"They were very happy. They wanted me."
Lingafelter also held offers from Akron, Ball State, Cincinnati, Marshall, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
