Chippewas Insider has learned that cornerback Delvin Davis (5-11, 180, 4.45) of Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan High School recently made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University.
Davis had reportedly been up to visit campus this past weekend when he pledged the Chippewas.
Davis is perhaps the earliest Florida recruit to ever make a verbal commitment to the CMU football program.
