Chippewas Insider has learned that offensive tackle Levi Brezee (6-7, 270) of Chelsea (Mich.) High School has made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University.
Brezee took his official visit to CMU last weekend and reportedly visited Toledo this week before making his decision.
Besides the Chippewas and Rockets, Brezee also considered an offer from Eastern Michigan where he visited the first weekend of December.
Brezee becomes the eighth verbal commitment in CMU's 2006 recruiting class and the first offensive lineman.
