Chippewas Insider has learned that placekicker Brett Hartmann (6-3, 215) of Menominee Falls (Wisc.) High School has been offered a scholarship by Central Michigan University.
Hartmann has reportedly scheduled an official visit to CMU for this weekend, Jan. 20. He also reports offers from Baylor and Bowling Green.
Hartmann totaled 196 points, including 21 field goals in his four-year varsity career at Menominee Falls. This season he kicked a 31-yard field goal for the 10-2 Indians to beat rival Milwaukee Marquette, 20-17, in the second round of the state playoffs.
