Chippewas Insider has learned that quarterback/linebacker Brett Morse (6-4, 220) of Hinsdale (Ill.) Central High School made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan Thursday night during an in-home visit with CMU.
The Chippewas beat out archrival Western Michigan for Morse, who completed official visits to both schools the weekend of Jan. 13.
Morse becomes the 20th verbal commitment in CMU's 2006 recruiting class. He could play a number of positions for the Chippewas, including quarterback, linebacker, tight end or defensive end.
