Chippewas Insider has learned that wide receiver Chris Morris (5-10, 165) of Plano (Texas) East High School recently made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University.
Morris took an official visit to CMU the weekend of Jan. 13. He becomes the second wide receiver and 21st overall verbal commitment in the Chippewas' 2006 recruiting class.
Morris also reported recruiting interest from SMU and Arkansas State.
