Florida Defensive Back Commits to CMU

The Central Michigan University football program has added one of the top players in south Florida to its 2006 recruiting class.

Chippewas Insider has learned that defensive back Bobby Seay (6-0, 185) of Miramar (Fla.) Everglades High School made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University during his official visit to campus this past weekend.

Considered one of the top players in south Florida this season, Seay was recently named the most valuable player of the Broward County Athletic Association North/South All-Star game.

He becomes the ninth Floridian and 22nd player overall in the Chippewas' 2006 recruiting class. Recruits cannot sign binding national letters-of-intent until Feb. 1.
