Chippewas Insider has learned that punter/placekicker Brett Hartmann (6-3, 215) of Menominee Falls (Wisc.) High School made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University following his official visit to campus this past weekend.
Hartmann is a a four-year varsity starter for Menominee Falls. This season he helped lead the Indians to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the Wisconsin Division I state playoffs.
In addition to CMU, Hartmann reported scholarship offers from Baylor and Bowling Green State University.
