Chippewas Insider has learned that wide receiver Robby Leith (6-4, 195) of Ventura (Calif.) High School made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University following an official visit to campus this past weekend.
Leith recorded 69 receptions for 1,463 yards (21.2 yards per catch) and 19 touchdowns this season to help lead Ventura High to an 11-2 record. He averaged 122 yards per game for the Cougars.
Leith also reported a scholarship offer from Colorado State and recruiting interest from Oregon, Iowa and Boise State among other schools.
