Virginia Lineman Commits to the Chippewas

Central Michigan University's search for more offensive linemen has taken it to the state of Virginia where this week the Chippewas received a verbal commitment from one of the finest in the Old Dominion.

Chippewas Insider has learned that offensive lineman Colin Miller (6-4, 275) of Clifton (Va.) Centreville High School made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan University following an official visit to campus this past weekend.

Miller becomes the third offensive lineman in CMU's 2006 recruiting class, joining Michiganians Jeff Maddux and Levi Breeze.

Miller also reported recruiting interest from Virginia, Maryland, Boston College and Akron. He is rated among the top 50 players in the state of Virginia this season.

With the verbal commitment of Miller, the Chippewas now have one scholarship remaining for their 2006 recruiting class.
