Chippewas Insider has learned that linebacker Johnnie Daniels (6-0, 220) of Miami (Fla.) Christopher Columbus High School has made a verbal commitment to Central Michigan.
Daniels, who led Christopher Columbus with nearly 100 tackles this season, also considered offers and interest from Indiana, West Virginia, Colorado State and Western Michigan.
Daniels is scheduled to make his official visit to CMU this weekend. He becomes the 12th known verbal commitment in the Chippewas 2007 recruiting class.
