LeFevour Named MAC West Player of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University junior quarterback Dan LeFevour of Lisle (Ill.) Benet Academy has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Chippewas' 27-25 win over Buffalo on Saturday.

Dan LeFevour completed 21-of-26 passes for 152 yards and ran 16 times for a game-high 100 yards and a touchdown against the Bulls. It was his seventh career, and second straight, 100-yard rushing effort and marked the 16th time in his 33 career games played that he has been the Chippewas' leading rusher.

LeFevour completed 10-of-11 passes for 81 yards and ran 11 times for 74 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown, in the second half to help rally the Chippewas from a 5-3 halftime deficit.

This marks the sixth time in his career LeFevour has been named MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Central Michigan (3-2 overall, 2-0 MAC) is off this week before hosting Temple on Oct. 11 at 4 p.m.
