Florida Wide Receiver Commits to CMU

The Central Michigan University football program has received a verbal commitment from a standout Florida prep player who visited campus this past weekend.

Chipewas Insider has learned that wide receiver Deja Alexander of Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast High School has verbally committed to Central Michigan University following an official visit to campus this past weekend.

Alexander, who is 6-foot-1, 185, becomes the third wide receiver in the Chippewas 2009 recruiting class, joining Cody Wilson of Rochester (Mich.) Adams High School and Rodney Woodland of Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Marys.
