Dan LeFevour headlines a group of six senior quarterbacks that USA Today features inside the magazine. Both LeFevour and Central Michigan University head coach Butch Jones were interviewed for a feature story that appears on Page 8.
USA Today sent a photographer to campus to conduct a photo shoot with LeFevour in May. Along with the cover shot, a one-quarter page photo accompanies the feature story.
The other five senior quarterbacks featured in the preview magazine are Max Hall (BYU), Tim Tebow (Florida), Todd Reesing (Kansas), Daryll Clark (Penn State) and Colt McCoy (Texas). The preview magazine also includes USA Today's predictions for each conference and previews of each team in the country.
This marks the second time LeFevour has been featured in USA Today. The national newspaper profiled him last August along with the CMU billboard at Comerica Park in Detroit.
USA Today's College Football Preview '09 featuring LeFevour will remain on newsstands through July 27. The magazine also can be ordered by calling 1-800-872-5149 or by visiting www.usatodayservice.com/specialeditions.
