Linebacker Matt Zakrzewski made his college choice moments ago.
"I just verbally committed to Indiana," Zakrzewski said.
Before making his pledge to the Hoosiers this afternoon during a visit to the Bloomington, Ind., campus, Zakrzewski had planned on attending Central Michigan's 5-Star Recruiting Day this Sunday.
"I probably won't be (going to CMU) now," Zakrzewski said.
The Chippewas were among the first schools to offer Zakrzewski a scholarship. In addition to the Hoosiers, he also had offers from the University of Missouri and Western Michigan.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Zakrzewski becomes the Hoosiers 16th commitment for their 2010 recruiting class and the second St. Francis Gladiator to commit to a Big Ten school for next year, joining Max Bullough, who committed to Michigan State last fall.
