Odino Etienne is a transfer from El Camino (Calif.) Community College. He is currently enrolled in summer classes at Central Michigan University and has two years of eligibility remaining.
"Odino is a guy that provides us depth and experience at the defensive tackle position," CMU head coach Dan Enos said. "He is well-developed physically, mature and is a good athlete with toughness. We feel his best football is still ahead of him."
Etienne played two seasons at El Camino, helping lead the Warriors to records of 9-1 in 2008 and 10-2 in 2009.
As a senior at Boyd Anderson High School in 2007, Etienne was named to the Class 6A all-state second team as an offensive lineman by the Florida Sports Writers Association. He also earned All-Broward County 6A-4A second team honors as an offensive lineman.
