Chippewas Insider has learned that offensive lineman Kenny Rogers of Holt (Mich.) High School verbally committed to Central Michigan today.
Rated among the top offensive line propspects in Michigan this year, the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Rogers chose CMU over an offer from Ball State. Rogers also reported recruiting interest from Michigan State, Purdue and Western Michigan, among other schools.
Rogers becomes the 10th commitment overall and the second offensive lineman in the Chippewas' 2011 recruiting class, joining fellow Lansing area recruit Ramadan Ahmeti (Lansing Waverly) at CMU.
