"It was great, campus was nice, and the new athletic improvements are great."
One of the things that caught the 6-foot-5, 260-pound lineman's attention was the highlight video shown recruits.
"We watched the video they played to the players before they went out to the field, it got me pumped up with highlights, I was ready to go out and play."
One thing that looks to be changing this winter is the focus on football.
"We played basketball last year but I don't think we'll play this year. Our goal is to hit the weights and concentrate on football. Basketball was always a slow weight season and we would lose weight, so this year we're hoping to not do that and get a little bigger and stronger."
One question that got Dustin thinking was if he and his brother must attend the same college, you might be surprised.
"I don't think it is that important, we have a lot of family that likes to attend our games, so we would always have family at our games."
Like his brother, Dustin has a great academic background. However, he does like to brag just a little that he might be the smarter of the two.
"I have a 4.0 GPA and rank seventh in my class. I got a 27 on the ACT my sophomore year, but want to take it again to improve upon my score.
Bearcat Insider will continue to follow the progress of Dustin Ross in the coming months.
