Cincinnati lands Georgia LB

Atlanta linebacker commits to Bearcats while on campus Saturday.

Following Cincinnati's non-conference victory over Akron, the Bearcats' coaching staff picked up another victory when Grady High School linebacker John Law committed to the program.

A middle linebacker, Law was in town for his official visit. He was a tackling machine in 2010 as he registered 106 tackles, 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles caused while leading the Knights to the AAA semifinals.

Cincinnati was Law's only big-time offer as he sported scholarship offers from Eastern Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Richmond, Tennessee State and Western Kentucky.

Law confirmed his commitment to BearcatInsider via text late Saturday. He said the sense of family around the program was the main reason he chose Cincinnati.
