Harrison got his trio of visits started this past Saturday, when he traveled to Nippert Stadium to watch Cincinnati win a share of the Big East crown.
"It really was good," Harrison commented on his trip to UC. "The football team was cool, the players were cool and the coaches were relatable. I like the direction that the school is going. All in all, it was a good visit."
Although Harrison says there is a lot to like about the Cincinnati program, it is the relationship with his recruiting coach that is currently the biggest factor working in the Bearcat's favor.
"My relationship with Coach (Dave) Johnson is really good. Coach Johnson is a good coach. When it comes to tight ends, he knows what he is doing. He's coached some great tight ends, and he has coached wide receivers too, so he has those skills as well."
Harrison, who estimates that he had 15 catches this season, says that academics and the environment of the school will be the biggest factors in his decision.
While he is still trying to figure things out right now, he does have a plan for the remainder of the recruiting process.
"I'm taking a visit to Rutgers this week and then a visit to Louisville the following week. I'll make my decision sometime after Christmas break. It'll probably be late January or early February."
