Cincinnati gets local commit

For the third time this week, the Cincinnati Bearcats have picked up a verbal commitment. The verbal pledge brought the Bearcats up to 23 and its fifth local product.

Middletown (OH) senior E.J. Junior, a first-team running back in the Greater Miami Conference, really came on during his senior season. Junior, who is 6 feet 2 and 210 pounds, rushed 138 times for 755 yards and nine touchdowns.

The exact position for Junior, running back or linebacker, hasn't been decided. The Bearcats currently have commitments from two running backs and three linebackers.

He is the son of former NFL player and head coach at Central State University, E.J. Junior.
