Ohio WR Loves Bearcats

Mykel Traylor Bennett is seeing his stock rise with two recent offers from BCS programs. However, it's a school that has not offered that he list as his top school.

Reynoldsburg (OH) wide receiver Mykel Traylor-Bennett now holds BCS offers from Minnesota and Syracuse. However, his love for Cincinnati might give the Bearcats an advantage if they get on board in the near future.

"Cincinnati is my number one favorite school as of right now," said Traylor-Bennett about the Bearcats. "My mom graduated from there and ever since I went there the first time I've liked it and wanted to go to school there."

While he still shares his excitement about the Bearcats, his father tells him to keep an open mind.

"My dad keeps saying I'm just saying how much I like UC because it was the first college I ever went to. But after awhile I keep going there and keep feeling like I was at home. I really like the environment, coaches and players there."

With an offer list that is growing, Traylor-Bennett has summer plans to showcase his talents.

"Right now I'm planning on going to Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State and Cincinnati for campus this summer," he said. "I'll also be attending the Nike Camp in Columbus next month.
