Florida 2014 Prospect Impressed By Bearcats

When the University of Cincinnati made a game-day trip to battle South Florida one native of the sunshine state took it as a chance to check out two schools of interest at the same time.

While Tampa (FL) Jesuit High School 2014 linebacker/tight end Vincent Jackson is seeing early offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Miami and Rutgers to name a few, it was the Bearcats that impressed him most this past season.

"Cincinnati is great," said Jackson. "When they came down here to play USF it gave me a chance to check out both programs at the same time. Their offense is crazy… I love their offense."

While Jackson is excited about his early offer list, he also knows on-field production is a must.

"I don't want to be cocky or anything," said Jackson. "All the early offers don't really mean a thing if I can't produce enough on the field."

While impressed by the Big East program, Jackson also knows it will be hard to pull him away from home.

"It's going to be pretty hard to get me out of Florida," he said. "I don't see how you can beat either Florida or Miami as they are both great schools right here. But if anyone can show me differently they'll definitely get me there."
