After practice on Sunday, I was able to spend a few minutes talking with senior offensive tackle Sean Hooey. He are some of his thoughts on the program and the upcoming season.

On the shuffling of the Big East conference. "We're just focusing on camp, because that's where we're at. You can't get caught up in that. We're looking towards Pitt and Pitt alone."

On any underclassmen who have impressed him during camp."Sam Longo has made incredible strides. Parker[Ehringer], he was my backup, he's stepped up and played guard, he's doing really, really well. Dominic Mainello, he's a walk-on, he's gained some weight since he's been here at camp, he's our 2nd string center. He's playing really well."

On playing Virginia Tech in Washington D.C."We're always excited about it, but we're still trying to focus on just Pitt right now, it's our last chance to win the River City rivalry. We want to keep that forever."

On this being Butch Jones' 3rd year at UC."The first year was a huge transition, like it always is. Last year we all bought in, we got the hang of it. If you buy in, it works. Big East championship, Liberty Bowl victory, and this year, everyone's bought in even more. I'm expecting big things."
