Flick Excited to Be a Bearcat.

2013 offensive guard commit Ben Flick is excited about his future as a UC Bearcat.

For Cincinnati fans familiar with southwest Ohio high school football, Hamilton High School is one of those schools that produce Division one talent year in and year out. The 2013 class is no exception, and offensive guard Ben Flick looks to carry on the tradition of the big blue when he suits up for the Bearcats next season. Flick was able to attend UC's Thursday night, season opening 34-10 win over Pittsburgh, and came away excited about his future in the red and black.

"The game was amazing. UC showed up ready to go. I've been to plenty of games before, but this one was insane. They have so much support.", said Flick.

Being one of the committed players, Flick spent some time paying attention to his fellow offensive lineman, and was impressed by their performance.

Said Flick, "You can't get 200 plus rushing yards without a dominate offensive line like Cincinnati's".

Being in front of the huge crowd, hearing the fans cheering and the band playing, all added up to an exciting evening for the 2013 commit. One that got him excited about his future as a Bearcat.

"It was a feeling like no other. What I was more excited about is my future teammates. The team obviously shows a strong value in being a family that's filled with character. I can't wait to call myself a Bearcat."

And we can't wait to cheer you on as a Bearcat.
