After practice on Wednesday, I was able to talk with Cincinnati senior defensive end Walter Stewart on his camp and the upcoming season.

Q: Have you and the other seniors talked about what you'd like your legacy at UC to be?

A: "We just want to win This is my fifth year, and I've got three rings, and we want to win another one. We're trying to keep that tradition going."

Q: Is it hard to balance being a leader and trying to enjoy your last year playing college football?

A: "It's a challenge, but it all comes down to what's most important, and right now for me, taking care of the young guys and showing up everyday and being there for the team. That's the most important thing."

Q: Has it hit you yet that this is your senior year?

A: "It hit me Trust me. Everyday, it's a different challenge; you kind of just want to take everything in. I'm happy I made it this far and I just want to do everything I can to help the team win."

Q: How did it feel to get that win against Pitt?

A: "It felt great, man. A couple of years ago they came in here and whooped us, I think it was 28-7, they won the trophy and were dancing in our end zone. I'll never forget it. And that's why this win was great, we waited for it."
