Cage Takes New Look At Bearcats

Local prospect Daniel Cage took in a recent Junior Day at Cincinnati and came away learning more about the Bearcats under new head coach Tommy Tuberville.

With several new offers extended, local Winton Woods standout Daniel Cage was able to take a first-hand look at the hometown team the Cincinnati Bearcats.

"This past weekend I went to Cincinnati for a Junior Day," said Cage. "They offered me again as the new staff didn't really know that much about me until they saw my tape and started getting interested in me inviting me down for their Junior Day."

Despite the change in staff, Cage found the Bearcats up to par.

"I didn't know the new coaching staff since Coach (Butch) Jones left and it was kind of confusing at first," explained Cage. "I had been offered by the old staff before but saw on my visit that the new staff knows what they are doing and it seems like they will stay being a good program."

Can the Bearcats keep one of the top players in their own backyard from leaving town?

That will be a question answered in the coming months as Cage looks to visit several programs across the country.
