Beedle Talks About Recent Visit With Bearcats

One of the Bearcats top targets talks about his recent visit to Cincinnati and love for Bearcats head coach Tommy Tuberville.

Friday found a couple of Cincinnati assistant coaches working the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Southfield, Michigan.

One prospect getting plenty of attention was Clarkston (Mich.) defensive tackle David Beedle who holds an offer from the Bearcats.

Beedle recently visited camps and talked with Bearcat Insider about his visit.

"I went down to Cincinnati a couple weekends ago," said Beedle. "Cincinnati has top notch facilities and I love the coaching staff. It was a very nice visit."

One of the things that impressed Beedle most was the Bearcats head coach.

"I spoke with Coach (Tommy) Tuberville for awhile with my whole family," explained Beedle. " He's really laid back and it was just a normal conversation about the program and about where he's been. He has a great reputation and my family and I really love him."

While Beedle came away impressed by the Bearcats, one thing could be against the program from securing his pledge.

"Distance from home is a factor," explained Beedle. "I want my parents to be part of the whole experience and Cincinnati doesn't really play that many teams in this area."

If the Bearcats are unable to secure Beedle it won't be from not trying as Steve Clinkscale is working overtime on the defensive standout.

"I talk with Coach Clinkscale a lot on Facebock," said Beedle. "So we communicate a lot. He was here at the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp and we talked a little bit. I feel I have a very good relationship with him.
