Cincinnati Bearcats senior quarterback Brendon Kay came away from Saturday's game against Houston with his fifth career 300-yard passing game; fourth this season. He finish with 386 yards and 2 touchdowns, while going 29 of 50 passing (50 attempts was also a career-high).
Kay added 38 yards rushing with a touchdown, as UC went on to beat Houston 24-17. Bearcats have won their last six-games, improving to 9-2; 6-1 in AAC. UC moved into the 25th spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll and sit at 27th in the AP Poll.
Kay talked after the game Saturday about the win streak. "It will all take care of itself," Kay said. "We are going to go out there and we're going to keep winning ball games, like I've said the last few weeks, as long as we keep getting better, which we got better in a lot of areas today, we just have to improve on the turnovers and stuff and a lot of that is on me. I think we are going to keep climbing we just need a little help from UCF to take of that and we have to care of business against Louisville."
Kay and the Bearcats have a week off to prepare for their big match up against Louisville on December 5th at Nippert Stadium.
