"I spoke with coach (Eddie) Gran today," said Kraemer. "He said Cincinnati wanted me to know I was getting an offer from the Bearcats as they wanted to be one of my first offers.
"I told him thanks and he said they were very happy to do it as I seem like a really good player."
The offer from the Bearcats joins one issued by Illinois but the Bearcats could have a small advantage going forward.
"I know this is definitely a big offer," he said. "I know Austen Bujnoch and he really likes it there. So Cincinnati will be a school I'll really take in to consideration and look more into and maybe even go there. You never know."
The offer also gives the sophomore some relief as he's now starting to see he's got a future as a college football player.
"This is really exciting," stressed Kraemer. "I was getting nervous because I just had just the one offer. But this offer kinds of seals it that I have another one and I'll be moving forward."
Kraemer hopes to get back to campus soon as he visited for the Bearcats game with Louisville just a week ago.
"The facilities we saw were really nice," he said. "They played a good game and they were physical. I really like it up there and look forward to going back with my dad to sit down with their offensive line coach."
