Bearcats Win No.11 69-51 over UCF

With three Bearcats in double figures, Cincinnati won its 11-th straight game handing Central Florida a 69-51 defeat at Fifth Third Arena.

Justin Jackson logged 38 minutes had a big night scoring 12 points and blocking a career-high tying seven shots in Cincinnati's 69-51 victory over the UCF at home on Thursday night.

Jackson, from Cocoa Beach (Fla.) Arlington Country Day High School, also grabbed four steals and a pair of rebounds while getting plenty of help from Sean Kilpatrick's game-high 19 points in the Bearcats 11-th straight win.

Jermaine Sanders was the third Bearcat to hit double figures with 10 points and four rebounds off the bench.

Not only have the Bearcats been able to score, they are playing old-style UC defense under head coach Mick Cronin having held each of their last 27 opponents to under 70 points.

Cincinnati will not hit the road for two games starting on Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia to take on Temple.
