Barr Picks Up New Offer

Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy wide receiver/defensive back Chris Barr has picked up a new offer. Barr is a 5-foot-11 and 170-pound athletic two-way player in this 2015 class.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy wide receiver/defensive back Chris Barr has received a new scholarship offer from Cincinnati. The 5-foot-11 and 170-pound junior finish the season with 722 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns, while averaging 17.4 yards on punt returns for Trinity Christian in their Florida 3-A State Championship run.

"It feels good to have an offer from UC," Barr said. He also explained to Insider how UC is definitely on his radar now. "They are on my radar now. I never thought of them because I didn't know if they were interested in me, but now I know so they are in my Top 5."

Barr currently has offers from South Florida, Memphis, Purdue, Utah, Troy and UAB. With UC added to the list and gaining Barr's interest, he looks forward to getting to campus soon.

"I haven't visit UC yet, but I plan on going to their camp in the summer," Barr said.

Insider asked Barr what could Bearcat Nation except from the two-way athlete, he had this to say.

"The fans should know that I am a hard working kid and that I will give 100% effort on and off the football field," said Barr.
