Kennedy On The Rise

With the offer from UC, Wetumpka (AL) High Brandon Kennedy is honored to receive his latest offer. Kennedy is focused on the upcoming season and will let the recruiting process take care of itself.

Wetumpka (AL) High offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy picked up his seventh scholarship just last week from Cincinnati. Kennedy feels honored that he's been look by many schools and is clearly a name on the rise in the recruiting world.

"It is a honor that they recognized my talent and extended an offer to me, makes me proud," Kennedy said bout the UC offer.

The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Kennedy is projected to play the guard position at the college level. Asked what is your focus heading into the upcoming season?

"My main focus is doing my best to help our team make it into the postseason."

Last season Kennedy was apart of a pretty good Wetumpka offensive line that included Christian Williams, who signed with Georgia Southern. He talked with Insider about becoming the guy and filling the role of Williams.

"I'm just going to play hard and make every effort to be the best player I can be," said Kennedy. "I am a hard worker and player that is dedicated," he added.

Kennedy other offers include Jacksonville State, East Carolina, UAB, SMU, Marshall and Missouri. As his stock rises, his focus remains true as he continues on his recruiting path.
