The Palm Beach Gardens (FL) linebacker Tevon Coney heads into the spring with offers from Ohio State, Kentucky, Appalachian State, Clemson, Florida, FAU, FIU, Miami, Mississippi State, NC State, South Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia and Western Michigan. Coney feels the Cincinnati offer is just as big as the others.
"I'm thankful for every offer I get and I feel that UC is a big offer also, its a great offer," Coney said. "UC had been recruiting me hard but I didn't know when they were going to offer. I'm thankful now."
After having a solid junior campaign for Palm Beach Gardens, Coney finished with 172 tackles, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. Looking ahead to his senior year, Coney explained to Insider what he's looking to do.
"I'm looking forward to a state championship and looking forward to having a better season then last year."
The hard working, honest, happy, respectful Coney is definitely a huge prospect for the 2015 class. As Coney continues to grab offers planning visits is the hard part. Currently Coney is planning for a trip to Cincinnati.
"Its a chance that I can go up there an visit right now. I'm just planning everything out."
